Tears4Justice

On National Aboriginal Day (June 21st) Tears4Justice launched a national walk from Membertou, Sydney, Nova Scotia to Prince Rupert, British Columbia.  Their objective is to raise awareness about the many missing and murdered woman and children in Canada.  Their goal is to seek justice, closure, equality and accountability for all those family members.  They hope that the walk will draw attention to their call for a national public inquiry, as well as for a national symposium on the missing and murdered woman and children, and to ensure that recommendations submitted from previous walks (Walk4Justice) be implemented.  They define the walk as not a protest but rather a peaceful raising awareness campaign, walking in honour of all their lost loved ones.
